Crossing the Mediterranean
Crossing the Mediterranean is a tourist walk extending for about 30 Km from Aurisina to Val Rosandra mostly facing the sea where you can enjoy splendid views of Trieste and the homonymous gulf. The walk is accessible all year round, preferably in the hottest periods, and can be subdivided into various stages: the “Tiziana Weiss trail” between Aurisina and Santa Croce (trail marker CAI no. 7); the walk between Santa Croce and Prosecco (trail marker CAI no. 6°), the “Napoleonic” trail between Prosecco and Opicina and the “Derin Promenade” between Conconello and Monte Spaccato.
